The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood
I chose to re-read this novel after my ENG 103
class on Feminism. An interesting tale of a dystopian, archaic, American
society is told through an unknown woman (referred to only as the “handmaid”).
Atwood’s use of imagery and complex metaphors allow readers to truly appreciate
our current freedoms
