A Dog's Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron

I read this based on President Doti's recommendation and enjoyed it. Certainly not great literature, but an easy read (I kept me entertained on a plane ride) and likely to hit home with dog lovers. I found the first "story" to be the weakest of the bunch, but they got better as the book went on.
