Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
Carlos Ruiz continues his exploration of Gothic Barcelona in his book The Angel's Game. The Angel's Game is darker and more abstruse than the author's best selling novel, The Shadow of the Wind. The Angel's game leaves you with more questions than answers - and feels a little rushed and carelessly packaged, but the writing is beautiful and it is cause for a good think. If this is your first experience reading Ruiz Zafon better to start with The Shadow of the Wind - a more welcoming and cohesive example of the author's work.
