The Lady who Liked Clean Restrooms by J. P. Donleavy
The title of this book made me expect a comedic escapade; while there are certainly amusing moments, overall this is an ultimately funny/unfunny description of the odd decline of a society wife. The writing is capricious (not in a bad way) and sometimes challenging. The twists in the story make it fun to read.
