Zero by Tom Levine

This YA novel is a coming-of-age story about an artistic teenage girl wanting to go to art school but having to deal with issues from her parents, her best friend, and not having the money or confidence in herself to pursue her dreams. Then, she meets a boy in a band and things are different. The book is an entertaining read that shows a lot of character and includes a broad range of relatable topics for a young adult audience.
